I always go to visit people's sites that give me Llama badges to see what they do, and find out why they gave me a badge. I'm 63 and I guess I don't really understand the Llama badges. Anyway, then I saw your photographs, and fell in love with your work. Now I have to ask if I can paint from your photos because we obviously love the same creatures, and I love painting them. I of course would credit any photo of yours I use to paint a picture, link to you and your site, and let people know I couldn't have made the painting without your work. It's how I was able to paint the Ruffs. I had never seen them before, and then voila...Ruffs came into my life via DA. Thank you for the Llama Badge, and I'm now following you!

The badges are pointless at the end of the day, but I have to have a little obsessive collecting going on and found one way to get them is to give them!

On using the photos as references, please go ahead. I'd be interested to see what you do.

'Tis the first time I see a secretary bird on picture and it really looks captivating.
Still, those eyelashes are a bit exaggerated.

Great shot! Though i wonder, how did you get it at weheartphotos? If i will send an image from animals or macros, they say animals and macros not allowed :-(

I don't see anywhere that says no animals there. Their rules do say no macro or pet photos, amongst other forbidden items. Beyond that, you're better off asking them.

Now i'm here I need to look at how I can actually get there. I passed signs for it fairly close to where I live, but I still need to find the right bus..
The thing is, it's only 7 minutes from me.
I'm also sharing a flat with a zoologist who may want to come too :XD:

Andover or the Hawk place? 7 minutes isn't far at all! If I'm visiting the same time I could swing by? The way the roads work I have to go to Andover and turn around before getting there.

Marwell :)
I'm pretty sure I can get most of the way by bus. It's mostly getting there from the airport or train station. I hate not having my car..

Doh! Didn't think Marwell since this picture wasn't from there :P

Is there any travel advice on their web site? Regardless I could still give a lift if I'm going there at the same time.

Not really.. just distances. I can get to the airport easily but it's there to Marwell I can't find right now :)
